Prudhomme International is a joint venture by Clara Tapia Prudhomme and Harry Lodge, into top quality, authentic Italian Food in both Savoury and Sweet Ranges.

Established in 2023 Clara and Harry wanted to introduce a top quality range of Italian food products for Christmas Hampers. This would include food products that can be easily prepared at home, or gifts ideas for family, friends, colleagues – all with a touch of intrigue, encompassing a variety of top Italian brands and products not found easily in the UK, but household names in Italy.

Clara, originally from the Dominican Republic and now living in Italy for 40 years, successfully - owned a delicatessen and café in the Italian city of Gallarate near Milan and has a vast knowledge of top quality confectionery and savoury products from both the Italian and Caribbean market.. The delicatessen was supplied by some of the top Italian manufacturers – some of whose products are now stocked by Prudhomme International. Clara has vast experience in the preparation of food, presented in style, without losing its authenticity. Christmas Hampers are still requested from her former clients.

Harry lived in Italy for almost 20 years, originally moving there as a Professional sportsman in cycling in the 1990’s, travelling to almost every region of Italy and discovering the authentic Italy off of the usual tourist routes. With Italian cuisine as his second passion, Harry discovered many authentic regional products that have not changed in their preparation from generation to generation, thus creating a huge variation in the choice of food offered at Prudhomme International – each region rightly proud of its own Cuisine – from Sicilian Cannoli, to Taralli from Puglia, Panettone from Milano Lombardy, to name just a few.

Now based back in Salisbury, Wiltshire - Prudhomme International is present at several weekly markets and you will find them at many food festivals across UK. Christmas markets are still a major feature in their calendar, with Panettone and Christmas Hamper s available from September until Christmas Eve.

With Clara’s knowledge of Italian food and Harry’s extensive travel throughout Italy, they have selected a range of top quality authentic Italian foods to offer everyone - food that will cater for almost every palette - from mild to spicy, or from semi sweet to sweet.
